Kowry Technologies Ltd ("Kowry", "we", "us", "our") is a company registered in England and Wales (Company No. 17202314), registered office at 66 Paul Street, London, EC2A 4NA, United Kingdom. We operate the digital platform available at kowry.io and via our mobile applications.
Kowry is currently in pre-launch phase. Services are being developed and will be made available progressively. By registering your interest or creating an account, you agree to these terms.

Creating an account requires you to complete our Know Your Customer (KYC) verification process, which includes identity verification and proof of address. This is a legal requirement under UK and applicable African anti-money laundering regulations.
Kowry provides tools to convert and trade currencies, including African fiat currencies and digital assets. All transactions are subject to applicable fees, which are displayed before confirmation. Rates are indicative and may change between display and execution.
Our peer-to-peer marketplace facilitates direct currency exchange between users. Kowry acts as an intermediary and escrow agent, not as a principal. We are not responsible for the actions or defaults of individual counterparties beyond our escrow obligations.
Earn products involve placing funds into yield-generating structures. Returns are variable and not guaranteed. Past performance is not indicative of future results. Participation in Earn products constitutes acknowledgement of these risks.
Supported deposit and withdrawal methods include mobile money (M-Pesa, MTN MoMo, Airtel Money, Orange Money), debit/credit cards (Visa, Mastercard), payment gateways (Flutterwave, Paystack), PayPal, and bank transfer. Processing times vary by method. Fees apply and are displayed at the time of transaction.
Current fees are published on our platform and may be updated with 14 days' notice. By initiating a transaction, you agree to the fee applicable at that time. All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated.

Currency exchange and digital asset transactions involve significant risk. The value of assets can go down as well as up. You may lose some or all of your funds. Do not invest more than you can afford to lose. Kowry does not provide financial advice.

All content on the Kowry platform — including but not limited to the name, logo, design, code, text, and data — is the property of Kowry Technologies Ltd or its licensors and is protected by UK and international intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kowry Technologies Ltd shall not be liable for:
Our aggregate liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the fees paid by you to Kowry in the 3 months preceding the claim.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Kowry Technologies Ltd, its directors, officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of your use of the platform, violation of these terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these terms, applicable law, or if required to do so by a regulatory authority. Upon termination, your right to use the platform ceases immediately. We will endeavour to return any funds held in your account after satisfying applicable regulatory obligations.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, unless mandatory local consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction require otherwise.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or platform notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
